Hey. What's up? Been good?

Ok I'll make it short and simple. Me currently.

Wow, it's been more than a year since my last journal entry... So a lot happened, I live now in the US for work (how long, who knows?).
And since we're talking about work, my team and I are working on our new project: SHOWPRIME.COM showprime.com , which will allow you to make your own talkshow in a fun and easy way. It's still in progress, but we're working really hard on this.

I'm also making this entry to thank Siliconera www.siliconera.com/ for their Phantom Breaker art contest they launched 2 weeks ago, and for making me the winner of this . I'm gonna make sure to enjoy the fightstick and the Phantom Breaker game prize. I enjoy a lot these kind of contests which give me some motivation to draw more and which allows me to test out some stuff I don't usually do, female characters in this case, or simply put to improve my skills.
So right now I'm kinda in the mood to draw more and more (people might have noticed that my activity here rose quite a bit) ! And I also know that my current level means nothing compared to a lot, and that I have to aim further and further.

Well...How to start this...I guess I'm getting one of those ups and downs that happen from time to time. Lots of things to do and to think of and not enough time to manage the whole mess. Don't want to sound emo or too complaining but that's the kind of thing I never do, so for once...Let's say I'm full of doubts. Just want to lay down and empty my mind.

I talked about it in my last journal: some among you guys may already know, it is the company where I work now. So what's eLive www.elive.pro/ ? This is a video web service dedicated to eSports (initially).

Some of you may ask me "What is eSports, or electronic sports?" To define the term briefly, this is the video games played as a traditional sport, which by its competitive scope, highlights the high level practitioners: the Pro Gamer (PGM). So here we go beyond the simple case of entertainment, and get in a dimension where being a winner or loser DOES have a real importance. This is not very known to the general public, but the tests, reviews and walkthroughs for video games on video are increasingly common and popular on the web. We had already seen it on TV in France a few years ago on Channel GameOne at the time Marcus was on Level One.
Basically the idea is to comment on yours or others's play of videogames that were saved, on tests like Level One, to talk about great games that have marked a turning point in your youth, or rather talk about news that you wait impatiently.

Not everyone has a crazy video/audio equipment, so they can't make top quality video, so it's mostly based on amateurship and other artisanal processes. So this is where eLive gets into action: a full web solution to make your own videos. We offer you tools such as multicasting (multiple audio comments), management of its multiple sound sources(between video source, and each commentator), drawing directly on screen, adding text/link in live, facebook/twitter/google synchronization, etc. . All available on the website, you only have to connect and install a microphone!

I told you elive covers video games, but its use goes further: you can also talk about movies, series, manga, sports, entertainment etc as you like. If you wish, put up commented tutorials, like "How to do this or that with Photoshop" or "How to make a great pizza like Italians?" Or whatnot? Also, make your own karaoke! I almost want to say that there is no limit to the topics of application.
